It has been far too long since I have updated my deviantart account. I have not really been on the site in a long time, but it seems the website has grown by leaps and bounds since I first became a member so many years ago. I will be working to upload images to inspire, tell stories, motivate and intrigue.
In recent news, I started a new company about a year ago called, Kaizen Dreams. Kaizen is a word in Japanese that means continual improvement.
As an artist, I feel that we all struggle to improve on a regular basis. How can we hope to progress and develop our skills if we do not do so.
One of my goals is to start developing tutorials for artists to help share ideas, techniques and information so that my friends, fans and students can all learn and grow. It is my goal to improve as well.
The Arts play an important role in society, the media of all kinds inspire, motivate and encourage ways of thinking. So I feel that at some point we need to embrace a higher view of the effect our work has on others.
*** With all that in mind, I have a few questions for you:
1.) What are your experiences with art and how do you feel it inspires or influences the way people think and act?
2.) What are your goals and what are you working to improve upon?
3.) Who inspires you?
4.) Can you tell us a story of your greatest mentor or the person or people that inspire you most?
5.) What are the best resources you have found to learn and improve your craft?
I look forward to hearing your answers my friends and I hope you are doing well. I will be working to update more regularly.
Sincerely,
Bryan Crump
P.S. I will be going back to school soon to study architectural engineering. No doubt that will have a profound influence on the works that I create in the future.

Two New Pieces Available as Free Stock photography
I have decided in order to give people a closer work at my body painting work, the techniques, etc. I want to support and inspire fellow artists and our creative community. These two images which have been shot for an article in Swimsuit Illustrated magazine are now available as stock and high resolution download so you can view them in super detail. They are also released as creative commons for those that wish to make derivative works. You must give credit to the models, the body painter and photographer- myself (Bryan Crump), #crumpeffect, and also the makeup/bodypaint products used Mehron and Snazaroo. This will help them to gain a larger
I have great news and a new piece...
I wanted to share something special with you. This is the character, "Natrani", from a recent body painting photoshoot that I did with the H3D Camera. This is a preview. If you look on the portfolio page it will allow you to view or download the full resolution of the image so you can see the detail in the work. This is part of what I do as a Transformational Specialist. I am only sharing it with select circles. I am partnering with several great people to rebuild from the ashes and get going again. It's been a long road of recovery and discovery.
Please only share with friends. I am only doing limited releases as it I am working on a new bo
I need a new icon.. hmm... What are your thoughts?
So I have been waiting forever to build a logo for my art and what I do. i know i definitely need a new icon for devart. The dragon skull is cool, but I did it years ago and it just does not have the same light, energy and feel for what I am trying to accomplish now. What are some of your favorite pieces I have done and what do you think I should use as inspiration for my new icon?
Woohoo... Here we go...
A new day and new opportunities. Keep your mind open and an attitude of gratitude so you can see what the day brings. Every moment is a chance to turn things around. Get out there, show your work and have faith in what you do. It may be raw now, but as long as you keep working at it, it will become more refined. Your quality and style will begin to make itself known.
We are artists, we are creators. We are the leaders of yesterday, today and tomorrow. We learn from images, tell stories through them and so much more. Everything you see in society was designed by someone. Do you have faith in your work? I hope so. You are sharing it here, so
